Lola Pearce and Jay Brown’s lives have not been easy on EastEnders, and according to BBC soap spoilers, things are about to get worse for the couple.
On EastEnders, Lola Pearce (Danielle Harold) and Jay Brown (Jamie Borthwick) are currently struggling financially. The couple’s financial difficulties are now at the forefront of their minds after they just got back from their honeymoon. Will the characters in the BBC soap opera soon be able to resolve their financial issues?
In upcoming scenes, the couple begins to show signs of financial desperation.
However, neither party wants to make the other worried about money.
Without exchanging words, they turn to friends for support behind each other’s backs without realizing they are speaking to the same person.
Each of them asks Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) for support during this trying time.
Since Lola was told she had a brain tumor last year, the Walford resident has been a rock for them.
He has no problem assisting them because he is Jay’s longtime friend and the father of Lola’s daughter.
Along with her mother Emma Harding (Patsy Kensit), Lola and Jay are supported by her.
She did, after all, give them the money for their honeymoon because she wanted to make up for all the time she had spent apart from Lola.
Emma left Lola when she was a young child, but it has recently come to light that her violent father forcibly removed her from Lola’s life.
Unlike Lola, Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick) has not been as receptive to Emma’s arrival.
He informed Emma that Lola could not be coerced into getting close to her in his capacity as her granddad.
Recently, Emma moved to Walford after learning that Lola was dying.
However, Emma actress Patsy has confirmed she has finished filming her final scenes for the soap.
She penned: “We’re leaving on a jet plane! Don’t know when I’ll be back again… Going to the heat.
“Great news this Friday that my severe chest infection I’ve nursed since December has now been diagnosed and I’m on the right antibiotics and need to convalesce for a bit and will be right back on my feet!!!
“Cannot thank my amazing cast members for the simply awesome experience I’ve had working on @EastEnders for being so kind and loving to me.” (sic)
Patsy added: “Big thank you to the BBC, the producer’s writers crew and the EE family.
“Costume makeup AD’s Ang at the help desk… Jamie and Danielle for making me laugh my a**e off every day. I love you both… Emma Barton.. so many people…. A new adventure begins.” (sic)
