Linda Carter, an EastEnders Queen Vic landlord, has been devastated by the alleged demise of Mick Carter after the latter was last seen swimming to safety in an attempt to save his ex-wife.
After the tragic accident on Christmas Day, the Queen Vic unexpectedly closed on Wednesday, allowing EastEnders locals to learn the truth about Mick Carter’s (Danny Dyer) fate. In a heartwarming scene, Linda Carter (Kellie Bright), Mick’s ex-wife, and he were reunited. However, Linda “won’t get over” the incident “anytime soon,” so the landlady’s future was cruelly taken from her.
The Linda actor Kellie discussed the future of her character in Walford in an interview with Express.co.uk and other media.
Let’s just say Linda doesn’t get over this anytime soon, according to EastEnders actress Kellie.
“She won’t do that, will she? Her true love is him.
We recently recorded some Valentine’s Day content, and there is a small picture of Mick up behind the bar. I wish him a Happy Valentine’s Day and blow him a kiss.
In that regard, he’s still very present for her, the BBC soap opera star said.
“I do have some knowledge of Linda’s future, but I am unable to share it with anyone.
After Danny went on, there was undoubtedly a moment when I just thought, “Oh God it’s so weird one half of something almost,” so I’m excited about having just learned this myself.
The actress wondered if EastEnders viewers would see Linda regain her “spark.”
Linda is a hard worker. She reminds me of Barbie with a steel core, I’ve always said,” Kellie said.
She’ll undoubtedly overcome this, and the fact that she is the mother of Ollie and Annie will no doubt motivate her.
But I’m really looking forward to what will happen in the coming year.
I actually don’t know very much, but I am excited to be a part of something that will be quite significant.
Linda left Walford in recent scenes to tell her kids about the tragic incident.
In order to support one another and take care of Ollie and Annie, Shirley and Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) remained behind.
When the citizens of Walford learned the truth, Shirley Carter’s (Linda Henry) rage was directed at Scarlett Butcher (Tabitha Byron).
Shirley, however, realizes her error on Thursday as those in the Square continue to be haunted by the events of Christmas Day.
To make amends with the child, Shirley crosses the Square.
The horrific murder of Tina Carter (Luisa Bradshaw-White) was covered up until the Carter family learned the truth earlier this year.
Shirley stated earlier in the week that the Carters needed to accept the fact that Mick wasn’t returning home after wasting months looking for Tina.
