Linda Carter, an EastEnders cast member, has been missing her ex Mick Carter; will they get back together this Christmas?
When Kellie Bright’s Linda Carter first appeared on Albert Square in 2013, she quickly gained notoriety as an EastEnders legend. The actress acknowledged that, despite spending nearly ten years on the BBC soap opera, she is still concerned about being written off.
Kellie shared her concerns for the future while teasing the upcoming Christmas storyline with Matt Tebbutt on Saturday Kitchen.
EastEnders at Christmas must be one of the most exciting times of the year, thought Matt.
“It is! Christmas on the Square is my favorite “Kellie answered. “I signed up right before Christmas.
“I literally drove onto the square for my very first scene, got out, and looked up at the pub.
“Additionally, the large tree in the center of the square gave the scene a decidedly EastEnders vibe. I have no idea how that occurs.
“However, each time it does, I think, “Oh my gosh, how has a whole year gone by?”
But I adore it each time it does.
Do people worry that they will be fired at Christmas, Matt questioned?
“I think people get worried they’ll be written out at any time,” Kellie replied.
“But I think we all know that Christmas Day is one of those days that people who don’t normally watch EastEnders are probably going to tune in.
“So there is a kind of, I don’t want to say added pressure, but it feels like a special episode or a special day.”
Kellie retorted, “I think people worry they’ll be written out at any time.
But I believe that everyone agrees that Christmas Day is one of those days when viewers who don’t typically watch EastEnders will likely tune in.
It feels like a special episode or a special day, but I’m not going to say there is added pressure.
The departure of Danny Dyer, as Mick Carter hinted, is expected to cause a lot of drama on Albert Square on Christmas Day.
“Secrets and lies are finally exposed, and all hell breaks loose in the Vic,” the synopsis begins.
“Disaster strikes for the Fox-Brannings when the chef gets distracted,” Jay’s gesture stuns Lola, and Alfie gets into trouble while trying to bring Christmas to No. 55.
When her co-star left, actress Kellie previously admitted to thesuns.info that she couldn’t stop crying.
“I didn’t do well. I cried basically from sort of July until November when he eventually left,” she revealed.
“In the end I was sort of relieved, I’ve got no tears left, he’s got to go.”
Danny added: “It was a beautiful evening everyone turned out for me, very, very emotional.”
