When Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) learned that her 12-year-old daughter was pregnant, EastEnders viewers were astounded. The EastEnders veteran was determined to let Lily Slater (Lillia Turner), despite her daughter’s youth, make the choice, but the soon-to-be grandfather Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) has a very different viewpoint.
Monday, Lily discussed her options with Kat Slater and decided against getting an abortion (Jessie Wallace).
In the upcoming episodes, chaos ensues when Jack learns that Ricky Jr. (Frankie Day) intends to assist Lily in raising their child.
He requests a meeting with Stacey and Martin Fowler despite Denise Fox (Diane Parish) pleading with him to exercise caution (James Bye).
Jack demands that the families convince Lily to change her mind, but Stacey rejects his request.
Later, on the square, Jack approaches Lily and describes what life will be like for her as a teen mother.
Will he persuade the young woman to have an abortion and change her mind?
Stacey rushes over to his house after learning what he did and forbids the entire family from ever touching the infant.
The moment Ricky Jr. learns what has happened, he calls Sam Mitchell (Kim Medcalf), who consoles him and warns him that he has gone too far.
The schoolboy then leaves his home and moves in with Sam, who allows him to act out.
Patrick Trueman (Rudolph Walker) cautions Denise that she needs to find a way to reason with her husband despite Jack’s desperation to bring him home.
Together, Stacey and Denise attempt to persuade Martin to speak with Jack, but later the Fox matriarch finds it all too much.
Ravi Gulati offers to be her shoulder to cry on when she expresses concern for her family (Aaron Thiara).
When she gets home, she is reminded of how much she cherishes her family and regrets savoring Ravi’s company.
Jack notices Ricky Jr. skipping off as he heads to meet his wife, and Patrick realizes Denise and Jack are drifting apart. However, Jack doesn’t take Patrick’s advice well.

Sam says the dress Denise is returning to the market is too young for her, which infuriates Denise.
