Who did Linda call to make an offer on the Vic? – “her knight in shining armour may not be who you think.”
Concerned that Sharon would start making changes to her beloved pub, Linda Carter’s earlier plan to run the Vic with her best friend appeared to be put on hold in recent scenes.
Linda talked to Patrick Trueman about the Panesars because she didn’t trust them, and he advised her to only do business with people who she trusted and who were also as business-savvy as the Panesars.
Viewers were left speculating as to whether Linda’s phone call would inevitably bring an old face back to the square.
Chris Clenshaw, the show’s executive producer, said of Linda Carter’s future: “Linda’s world has been turned upside down by seeing a photo of Shirley with Dean, but she’s forced to focus on who her new business partner will be or what will happen to her home will be lost.
However, her knight in shining armor might not be who you think. “Sharon and Nish are hoping to get the keys to the castle.” – Who might that be?
In addition, Kellie disclosed that she and the other five actresses had created a WhatsApp group where they would probably be going over the evidence just like the audience: “I believe that we are all incredibly eager to participate. We quickly created a WhatsApp group called “The Six” because Chris Clenshaw claimed to have been calling us that in the offices before people were aware of our existence.”
However, does Kellie know who the victim is? “I have a gut feeling. I had a very strong feeling—or perhaps more accurately, an idea—that the victim would play a significant role in this show. And now that I’ve slightly changed my mind, I believe it might be a character who hasn’t yet appeared on the show, someone we haven’t yet met.
“If I had to bet, I wouldn’t say it’s me or Diane [Diane Parish],” she said. I also believe that the women may be defending one another as a group. But who can say? They might be defending Linda!
Whatever transpires, the upcoming ten months will be jam-packed with hints and red herrings but also a ton of fun, bringing EastEnders back to the top of its game.
