Fans of EastEnders are curious to see how the nuptials of villain Janine Butcher and her fiancé Mick Carter will turn out, and teasers indicate that it will undoubtedly be dramatic.
Danny Dyer’s character Mick is poised to wed manipulative Janine (Charlie Brooks) in a Christmas ceremony, but fans of EastEnders will anticipate some sort of mishap.
The BBC serial is preparing for some dramatic Christmas Day plotlines, as it often does throughout the holiday season, and Mick is expected to be at the center of this year’s. Fans are also aware that Mick will soon leave the Square; may Janine’s sinister secret be a factor?
Viewers are aware that Janine was to blame for Linda Carter’s (Kellie Bright) recent vehicle accident.
Linda spent weeks in the hospital and was accused of drinking and driving even though she couldn’t recall what had happened.
Actually, Janine had slammed the car, leaving Linda for dead.
She was seen throwing away her bloody garments in the background of a photo taken by Frankie Lewis (Rose Ayling Ellis), and Janine’s daughter Scarlette (Tabitha Byron) knows the truth because she saw her mother hurt right away after the incident.
In yet-to-air sequences, Janine expresses sadness at leaving the Vic, but Mick comforts her and assures her that he will notify Linda right away.
Shirley Carter (Linda Henry) overhears Janine discussing covert plans with a man named “Steve” on the phone.
Scarlett is concerned that Mick will find out about her mother’s deceit and their lives would be ruined when Janine tells her they are leaving the pub later.
Unaware that Shirley had overheard some of their talk, Janine cautions her that Mick must never find out.
Later, Shirley quizzes Scarlett about Janine’s secret but gets nowhere before she spots Janine taking another secretive call.
Secrets are close to being revealed when Shirley decides to watch Die Hard that evening.
Scarlett is horrified to see the photo of Frankie flutter out of the case – the one with Janine in the background.
The quick-thinking schoolgirl grabs it and hides it in her diary.
However, Linda feels Janine is up to something nefarious and urges Shirley to abandon her grudge and embrace Mick’s marriage.
But does she possess sufficient proof to call off the wedding?
Shirley is curious about what Janine is doing the morning of Mick and Janine’s wedding.
Mick requests that everyone go away so that he may finish everything alone.
Later, Linda gives Mick one last chance to back out of his nuptials to Janine. Can he accept it?
Janine is anxiously awaiting Mick’s arrival at the registrar office, hoping everything will go according to plan.
