In Wednesday’s episode of EastEnders, Lily Slater told her mother Stacey Slater who the father of her child was.
Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner), a character on EastEnders, was horrified to learn that her 12-year-old daughter Lily Slater (Lilia Turner), was pregnant.
The girl initially resisted disclosing the paternity of her child before finally confessing she had slept with Ricky Jr. Mitchell (Frankie Day) and promising her mother secrecy. But was Lily telling the truth?
Stacey looked around the square in Wednesday’s episode for hints about her daughter’s relationships.
When asked about the boys in Lily’s life by Jean Slater (Gillian Wright), Stacey could only name one.
She remembered that Nugget Gulati (Juhaim Rasul Choudhury) had gone on a date with Lily, but she quickly ruled out the possibility that he was the father.
Lily was seen gazing out the window as Stacey entered her house.
Stacey made hasty judgments when she noticed that Ricky Jr. and Nugget were both in the center of the square.
When she inquired about Ricky Jr.’s paternity, Lily responded in the affirmative.
EastEnders, on the other hand, aren’t so sure Lily was telling the truth and think she’s covering for someone.
“Still don’t think Ricky jr. is the father of Lily’s baby, reckon she’s covering for someone,” @malteezas tweeted. Still, I believe it to be Nugget or another #EastEnders.
@youxkay questioned: “Was it really Ricky Jr or did she just say yes to shut her mum up? #EastEnders.”
“I wonder if Nugget is actually the father of Lilly’s baby. I feel like Lilly just said it was Ricky Jnr because Stacey jumped to that conclusion. Ricky Jnr doesn’t seem the type for one night stands unless he was provoked. #EastEnders,” @RyanTheSoapking added. (sic)

I don’t believe Ricky Jr is Lily’s baby daddy, according to @JFDT29. Lily’s expression when she looked out the window led me to believe it was Nugget from Eastenders.
If Lily is found to be lying, will Stacey ever learn the truth about her daughter’s pregnancy? Or will she never find out?
When Stacey confided in Jean, her daughter stopped trusting her, but it appears that Stacey has made progress with Lily.
Lily was interviewed by social services and the police while she was in the hospital, but they will probably want to speak with her again to ensure her safety.
Lily appears determined to conceal her pregnancy and doesn’t want her mother to tell Ricky Jr. that he is the father of her child.
The young girl begged her mother to hide Lily’s existence from Martin Fowler (James Bye), who raised Lily as his own.
If Lily is being truthful, she might only be trying to keep her friend Ricky Jr. out of trouble.
Lily might be lying, though, and protecting someone else in Walford.
