Fans of EastEnders are certain they have figured out why Freddie Slater has been acting strangely lately.
Following this week’s announcement that Lily, 12, was expecting a child, viewers of the BBC soap opera are convinced that Freddie may be trying to conceal the fact that he is the baby’s father. The news shocked Stacey Slater, who is still unsure of Lily’s possible bedfellows. She finally told Jean what had happened last night and received the help she so desperately needed.
Other TV viewers are confident they know what secret he is really keeping, and they are certain it has nothing to do with Lily’s pregnancy.
One said: “My hypothesis is that a grown man or nugget did this to Lily. I don’t believe it was Freddie because they might have messed with the boiler on EastEnders, which is why Bobby might have given him a strange look in the cafe.”
“Why do I think #Freddie attempted to repair the boiler at one point? @bbceastenders, #EastEnders “A second continued, while a third said: “Bobby knows freddie caused the leak by tampering with it. It’s just the look he gave #EastEnders,” said Ryan after Harvey accused the Caesars of being responsible for the boiler.
“I think Freddie tampered with the boiler after he set up Jean and Harvey on Thursday’s episode of #EastEnders,” a fourth comment read.
A fifth person commented, “I think Freddie may have been at the boiler, that’s his guilt not Lily #Eastenders @bbceastenders.”
The massive plot has left everyone wondering who the baby’s father may be, and actress Lacey Turner has opened up about Stacey’s reaction to learning that her 12-year-old daughter is expecting.
“Stacey’s in complete and utter shock. They’re talking about her twelve-year-old daughter, who doesn’t have a boyfriend, and as far as Stacey knows, isn’t really that into boys. Initially, Stacey thinks that the doctors must be wrong. After that, she goes through every single emotion that you could possibly feel in such a short space of time,” she said.
“Jean is Stacey’s rock, her best friend, and they have such a strong connection. Stacey and Jean have been through so much together, and Jean’s the only person who can really properly understand Stacey inside and out. For Stacey to share this secret with her mum is a massive weight off of her shoulders, but she also wants someone to tell her what she should do. In Stacey’s head, she’s thinking, ‘Do I just go with what Lily wants? Should I be angry? Should I tell Lily she can’t keep the baby?’ Stacey is just looking to Jean for some help. She wants someone to tell her, ‘Stacey, this is what you do.'”
