Fans were shocked this week when EastEnders’ Lily Slater revealed she was expecting a child and that Ricky Jnr was the father.
Since it was revealed that Lilia Turner’s character Lily Slater was expecting a child, EastEnders viewers have developed their own theories. Since then, the mother of the 12-year-old, Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner), has been concerned and has been attempting to determine whether Lily had been abused by an older person or whether the father was someone Lily’s age.
An emotional Lily revealed the father’s identity in the scenes that were broadcast on Wednesday.
The young woman revealed she had slept with Ricky Jr. Mitchell as she sat on the sofa next to Jean (Gillian Wright) (Frankie Day).
Stacey begged, “I’m worried about you. “In actuality, I am terrified rather than worried.
“Please tell her that we need to know who the father is when you speak to her, mum.
“Lily, if it’s Ricky, just let me know,” she pleaded. Just tell me, please, darling, so I can be sure you weren’t mistreated and groomed by a pervert.
Lily, you know how much we love you,” Jean added. “I’m going to reveal a secret to you.
More than anyone else in the world, your mother loves you.
“Now, as much as you and I want it to, this won’t go away, and you know that you’re not a child,” the speaker said.
“In fact, I think you’re more grown-up than I am sometimes.
“Please put your mum’s mind at rest, just for me.”
“We only did it once,” Lily confirmed before adding: “He can never know.”
Since the pregnancy bombshell was confirmed, fans have been sharing their thoughts on the storyline.
Many people thought Freddie Slater (Bobby Brazier), who has been acting strangely lately, might be the child’s father.
Others assert, however, that Freddie is concealing a completely different secret and that he tampered with the boiler, causing Lily to suffer carbon monoxide poisoning.
Daisy shared on Twitter her thoughts on Freddie’s secret as follows: “Just curious, did Freddie and Bobby’s tampering with the boiler still result in a leak? #Eastenders.”
The user @BovaryCee concurred: “I concur. It appears that Bobby and Freddie unplugged something while pleading with Harvey to visit Jean. They must have lost track of it at that point.”
So why is Freddie acting in such an odd way? @Onelifee3 asked a question.
“Sister got an interesting theory on the Freddie thing…maybe he tampered with the boiler,” Sarah speculated.
Perhaps he was trying to fix it, thinking he was helping, but he made a mistake, which is why he’s acting so shifty and was so hesitant to return to the house?
Why has Bobby been acting strangely around Freddie, a user named @SilentTheatre1 tweeted? Has he any misgivings about him? #Eastenders.”
I seem to recall #Freddie trying to fix the boiler at some point in the past. said Lyndsey Fitzpatrick.
