Fans of EastEnders think that Scarlett, Janine Butcher’s daughter, is the key to an explosive Christmas Day plot.
EastEnders viewers have speculated about Mick Carter’s (Danny Dyer) and Janine Butcher’s (Charlie Brooks) futures and appear to have come to an understanding about the couple’s date with destiny, and it’s all because of Scarlett Butcher’s actions (Tabitha Byron). Fans believe that Janine’s daughter’s concealment of an incriminating photo of her mother in a Die Hard DVD case is a major clue as to when her mother’s deceit will be revealed.
One of Albert Square’s all-time greatest villains is expected to make a final appearance in the BBC soap at some point, according to fans of the show.
In the episode from Tuesday, Scarlett discovered a picture of her mother taken the night of the collision involving Linda Carter (Kellie Bright).
The young Butcher family member was seen debating what to do with the picture of Lola Pearce (Danielle Harold) and Frankie Lewis (Rose Ayling-Ellis) out on the town, and ultimately decided to conceal it in a drawer with the recognizable action movie case.
Janine is seen throwing away some blood-stained clothing in the background of the picture, contradicting her claim that she was not in Walford when she hit Linda’s car and left her for dead.
As soon as the image was put inside the DVD case at the Carter residence, Walford Weekly Podcast tweeted: “The Janine reveal will thus occur around Christmas! In Mick Carter’s misdirection, “Die Hard” is unquestionably a Chrimbo movie!”
“Hiding the photo in the Die Hard dvd sleeve means it won’t be discovered until Christmas,” Steve Oliver continued.
John tweeted: “And at what times do people watch “Die Hard”? So basically, the Janine situation will blow up around Christmas?”
Toby concurred: “OMG, Scarlett included a picture of Janine in the DVD case for the holiday movie Die Hard. I’m convinced that Mick or someone else will find it on Christmas!”
When will the Carter family watch the next episode of Die Hard?, Alessia asked in her letter. “Oooh so Scarlett put the picture of Janine in the Die Hard dvd box.”
Sue summed up: “It is in the Die Hard case that she used.
The #EastEnders Christmas episode is now resolved.” (sic)
Die Hard’s status as a Christmas movie is frequently contested; perhaps EastEnders will finally put an end to it with a prominent role in this year’s Christmas special.
Three months is a considerable amount of time in Walford, but especially for the Carter family.
Even though Janine and Linda have been through almost a year of suffering, it appears that there will still be chaos up until the holiday season.
Last Wednesday, Janine tried a new strategy to crush Linda’s love rivalry.
After declaring her love for Mick, Mick’s ex-wife soon experienced heartbreak.
After deciding to keep her child with Mick, Janine was excited to share some happy news with the Queen Vic’s crowd and Linda, who was inconsolable. Janine joyfully announced she was expecting.
The timing of the plot’s climax is uncertain, but fans’ speculations are strengthened by Danny Dyer’s announcement that Mick, another character he plays on the show, will be leaving in December.
Danny has been Mick Carter since he debuted in a Christmas Day episode in 2013.
He recently said, “Let me tell you something now – Mick’s exit is going to be a very, very powerful thing,” on Jaime Winstone’s podcast Greatest Night Ever about his departure.
I would prefer that the door be left open, and from what I can tell, it is.
