After reviewing previous episodes, EastEnders viewers think they’ve identified the father of young Lily Slater’s child.
This week’s earlier revelation that 12-year-old Lily (played by Lillia Turner) was pregnant stunned viewers of the BBC soap opera. Even though the dad’s identity hasn’t been officially revealed, keen-eyed fans believe scenes from months ago have done so.
The young person was taken to the hospital on Sunday night after experiencing stomach pains that were thought to be caused by carbon monoxide poisoning.
Her mother Stacey (Lacey Turner), however, was horrified to learn her daughter was expecting a child after scans and tests were performed.
In scenes that followed, viewers saw Stacey speaking with social workers and police officers in an effort to determine who was responsible for Lily’s pregnancy.
She was disgusted by the idea that a relative might be accountable, but before Lily could go back home, a child protection and criminal investigation needed to be completed.
During tearful scenes between Stacey and Lily, the mother pleaded with her daughter to reveal who had caused her to fall pregnant.
Lily screamed, “No, I ain’t been abused,” when asked if she had been mistreated by an older man. You are incomprehensible.
Fans think scenes from last November may provide proof of the father’s identity, despite the fact that his identity has not yet been made public.
Because Ricky Jr. (Frankie Day) frequently disappeared to see his friends when he was going through personal issues, viewers theorize that Ricky Jr.
Another fan recalled a scene where Lily was grinning at her phone and appeared to be speaking to someone just as Ricky snuck off.
After Lily and his sister Amy Mitchell’s fight, the two were also seen becoming more intimate ( bbie Burke).
As their friendship came to an end, Lily felt cut off from the group and Ricky was seen checking in on her to see how she was doing.
Viewers of EastEnders believe Ricky was meeting with Lily all along because there were a few occasions when he claimed he would be late from school or out with his friends.
Many people have taken to Twitter to share their theories about the unexpected pregnancy in light of all the hints that have been dropped over the past few weeks.
Onelifee3 stated: “14 November 22. Ricky defended Lily when she was in a confrontation with Amy. On his phone, a text was hidden. I left Amy’s birthday party to visit a friend. Asked to be home late the following morning. The following morning, Lily smiled as she hid her phone from Stacey. Possibly today was the day.”
Could Ricky actually be Lily’s baby Daddy, Griannedoherty3 continued? Because of Jean’s illness and Amy’s self-harm, she has had a lot going on lately. Could she be feeling a little neglected as a result? Can’t imagine Denzel liking Amy. Will? Nugget? #Eastenders.”
Comment from RyanTheSoapking: “#EastEnders We’ve also observed Ricky wandering off by himself, for example when they were eating Amy’s birthday dinner. Ricky has also been using his phone a lot lately. Although there haven’t been many face-to-face interactions between the two.
“Who remembers that episode where Denise asked Ricky in the pub where he was going and he went, “to meet a mate,” that mate being Lily?” asked nat90HJ on Twitter.
“I really believe Ricky Jr. is the father of Lily’s child,” Geordiegalg stated. When I look back, I can recall numerous small scenes where he is making calls or rushing off somewhere, but nobody really pays attention. Recently, he and Lily have both been largely invisible, and I believe this is the reason.
Ricky is definitely the father of Lily’s child, according to BR 4 NN from Eastenders.
