Fans of EastEnders think Whitney and Stacey may be in for a difficult time because of their pregnancies.
Speculation among EastEnders viewers centers on a potential catastrophe involving Stacey Slater and Whitney Dean (played by Shona McGarty) (Lacey Turner). The two took pregnancy tests simultaneously during Tuesday’s episode, and Whitney was certain her test was positive. Some viewers have already developed their own shocking conclusions for the BBC soap, so things might not be as they seem.
Whitney and Stacey were regrettably forced to share a pack of pregnancy tests after a pharmacy stock issue.
The findings suggested Whitney was possibly carrying James Farrar’s (Zack Hudson’s) child.
When she declined the offer of a drink for her 30th birthday, she undoubtedly provided viewers with further proof of this.
Fans, on the other hand, think there might be more to their news than first appears, and they took to social media to share their theories.
Ryan Glendennigng tweeted: “I had a feeling that there would be a mix up with the pregnancy tests.”
Mike Priestley added: “Stacey and Whitney playing guess who.. pregnancy version.”
Real Sean Slater remarked: “Interesting as it seems Whitney already has her pregnancy test with her, meaning there’s another positive pregnancy test knocking about at the slaters.”
Jhon wrote: “I agree, the truth is that I question that pregnancy and the truth I doubt that baby is Zack’s.”
Diggamatik penned: “Oh No! What if #Stacey & #Whitney got their Pregnancy Tests mixed up, that would be soooo #EastEnders predictability !!”
With the bombshell news hitting Albert Square, some potentially wild conclusions were drawn too.
Ekitchener97 joked: “These days can’t rule Lily out because that’s what kids are doing nowadays.”
When Whitney accepted the news of the positive test, she sought the counsel of Felix Baker (Matthew Morrison) and Finlay Baker (Ashley Byam).
Along with Chelsea Fox (Zaraah Abrahams) they agree to help the expecting mum no matter what Zack’s reaction is.
Whitney was fearful he would be disinterested in having anything to do with their future baby.
Her fears appeared to be confirmed when the aspiring chef reacted badly to Whitney’s approach.
The new head chef of Walford East was too busy to speak to Whitney when she asked for a chat and their night of passion seemed a distant memory to him.
Jean Slater (Gillian Wright) retrieves a positive pregnancy test from her bathroom bin in a Twitter preview for the episode airing on Tuesday.
Then she and Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) discuss potential suspects, even bringing up young Lily.
But Jean thinks the test must belong to her daughter before Wednesday’s episode.
It appears that Whitney and Stacey may pay a price for choosing to share that pack.
