Whitney Dean from EastEnders has long been a favorite on the Square, and during that time, she has experienced her fair share of heartache.
It appears that she might face more challenges in upcoming EastEnders episodes as well. The expectant market vendor has come to terms with the fact that the baby’s father, Zack Hudson (James Farrar), isn’t keen on having children. Whitney (Shona McGarty) is unaware that Zack has distanced himself from her as a result of his recent HIV diagnosis. Will Zack be there to support Whitney when she receives terrifying news about the baby in yet-to-air scenes?
Whitney’s Walford friends are dedicated to supporting her through the pregnancy even though Zack doesn’t want to be involved.
Kathy Beale is presented with a lucrative idea by Felix Baker (Matthew James Morrison) for a drag queen night decorated in the manner of Whitney’s stall (Gillian Taylforth).
Zack is made aware of his debt to Whitney and their child.
Later, he makes the decision to try to aid Whitney secretly.
Without saying it, he asks Whitney’s friend Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) to give her the buggy she requires.
Kat complies with Zack’s request despite not being able to comprehend why he won’t be there for the newborn.
Zack is concerned about Sam Mitchell’s (Kim Medcalf) decision to stay in Walford at Peggy’s.
He starts to worry that she may have learned she is also HIV positive as a result of her stress.
Sam becomes suspicious when Zack answers too many questions when he tries to delve deeper.
When she realizes the text she received from the GUM clinic was about Zack, he informs her of his diagnosis.
When Whitney starts spotting, she becomes anxious, and Kat offers to accompany her to the hospital so she can be examined.
Sam approaches Zack to discuss his diagnosis and extends an offer of support.
He acknowledges that he is deeply ashamed and afraid of the stigma associated with the condition.
When he admits he hasn’t picked up his medication, Sam is outraged and tells him to be honest with Whitney.
Whitney is informed by Dr. Lane at the hospital that the baby’s ultrasound revealed a problem.
After hearing the news, Whitney is confused, but Zack hasn’t answered her calls.
When Kat suggests that she shouldn’t write him off just yet and mentions the buggy, she is taken aback.
Later, Kat runs into Zack, who tells her he’s headed straight for Whitney’s house.
He apologizes profusely before Whitney shares the pregnancy news.
Zack was relieved when Whitney revealed that the results of the standard tests were normal because he had recently been terrified that the infant might have HIV.
Will Zack finally tell Whitney the truth now that there is a new concern about the baby’s health?
