Viewers are inconsolable as EastEnders has started airing heartbreaking scenes about Lola Pearce and her brain tumor diagnosis.
With Patsy Kensit playing the role of Lola’s mother in the EastEnders story, it appears that Lola’s (played by Danielle Harold) family history will be explored as the plot develops. The former Holby City and Emmerdale star, who is no stranger to soap operas, is expected to join the BBC mainstay, ostensibly in the role of Lola’s estranged mother. The information was released shortly after Lola was informed that she would not recover from her illness.
Lola’s doctor recently told her that her diagnosis makes it unlikely that she will survive.
In heartbreaking scenes, Honey Mitchell (Emma Barton), Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden), and her grandfather Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick) vowed to be by her side “every step of the way” in support of her boyfriend Jay Brown (Jamie Borthwick).
Each of them took her hand and promised to be there for her after the shocking news.
Lola hasn’t frequently mentioned her parents since she first came to the Square in 2011.
After finding out about her illness, it appears that her mother will get back in touch with her daughter.
The Sun claims that Patsy’s scenes will air close to Christmas.
From 2004 to 2006, the actress played Sadie King on Emmerdale.
From 2007 to 2019, she portrayed Faye Morton in the medical drama Holby City.
Express.co.uk received confirmation from the BBC that Patsy will appear in the soap opera for a brief time.
On Thursday’s emotional episode, Lola was seen attempting to process the doctor’s bad news.
When she heard the heartbreaking news, her family and friends were there to support her.
Lola broke her heart to the medic, “I want to keep things as normal as I can for my daughter until I die.
She told her loved ones, “I don’t want to feel scared of saying that, okay?”
Although Lola would die, the doctor was unable to estimate when this would happen.
“All of our current efforts are focused on reducing that rate and keeping you healthy for longer.”
You’re attempting to buy me some more time, right? Lola queried.
As Lola and her family started to cry, the doctor answered, “More time and better time, yes.”
Please give me as much time as you can,” pleaded Lola.
Her family appears to be planning to devote their entire attention to Lola, but the plot’s development suggests she may receive a surprise visit from her long-lost mother.
As Lexi Pearce (Isabella Brown), Lola’s young daughter, is unaware of the seriousness of her mother’s condition, Lola’s main concern is for Lexi.
