EastEnders fans have been itching to find out who Kat Slater will end up with ever since Alfie Moon returned and ruined Kat and Phil Mitchell’s wedding.
With Phil (played by Steve McFadden) currently away from Walford, Alfie (Shane Richie) has been trying to reconnect with his sons. However, the EastEnders favourite ends up in big trouble in upcoming episodes after stumbling across Phil’s stash of money and later being forced at gunpoint to steal it on the BBC soap.
In scenes yet to air, Alfie tries to reassure his ex Kat (Jessie Wallace) that he has got everything under control at home.
Trying to distract the boys, Alfie challenges them to try to guess Phil’s code to the safe.
However, they end up working it out together and find a huge amount of cash inside.
Sam Mitchell (Kim Medcalf) turns up soon after, and Alfie quickly tells his children to put the money back.
Later, Alfie struggles as he tries to juggle problems at the cab office but needs to get to the shops to buy Tommy Moon (Sonny Kendall) a zombie video game.
When Mitch Baker’s (Roger Griffiths) cab breaks down, Alfie drives Vi Highway (Gwen Taylor) to bingo instead.
He ends up with just enough time to get to the game shop for his son.
However, a masked gunman then jumps into Alfie’s cab, further ruining his plans.
Keith, the gunman, has just robbed a building society and demands that Alfie be his getaway driver.
However, Alfie takes a risk and drives to the shop to get Tommy’s game anyway.
Alfie’s luck changes after a successful purchase when Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) calls and says the Moon boys told her everything about the safe game.
When Keith learns the safe contains £30,000, his ears perk up, and he commands Alfie to take him to Phil’s house under duress.
Alfie is interrupted in the taxi office by Freddie Mitchell (Bobby Brazier), who offers him a suggestion.
He is later taken off the market by Honey Mitchell (Emma Barton), which thwarts his plans.
Alfie tells Tommy about Phil’s missing money when he gets back to No. 55, and he laughs when Tommy offers to take care of it.
Danny Dyer, who plays Mick Carter, and Bobby Beale both reject Alfie’s attempts to convince them to “invest” in a food festival (Clay Milner Russell).
Alfie is probably going to get the blame when Phil returns and realizes the money is missing because it’s gone and Stacey knows he knew the safe’s code.
Could this further put an end to Alfie’s hopes of seeing Kat again?
He’ll need money when he gets back and will probably realize it’s missing right away.
Will Alfie be able to solve the problem prior to Phil’s return?
He might end up telling Kat, who might then tell Phil a lie to keep him safe about what happened to the money.
Could this be the beginning of the two of them getting closer once more? Since his return, Alfie has been attempting to get back together with Kat.
