After her mother was sent to prison, Stu Carpenter has to learn to care for his granddaughter Eliza.
In upcoming Coronation Street scenes, Yasmeen Nazir (played by Shelley King) worries about Eliza when Stu Carpenter (Bill Fellows) begins to schedule activities in her diary. After dealing with so much turmoil, the grandfather doesn’t want Eliza to miss out on anything. But what if his plans fail?
The following week, Stu frets about getting Eliza to school on time because he doesn’t want her to miss any more important events.
He is surprised to learn that Yasmeen has already prepared the girl’s breakfast.
When Stu finds out that Alya (Sair Khan) has plaited her hair, he becomes even more furious.
He makes ambitious plans for his granddaughter in an effort to demonstrate his competence and ability to care for her.
Stu claims Eliza can’t miss anything as he pins a schedule of her interests to the kitchen cabinet door.
He explains that she has had enough upheaval and just wants a normal life for her.
Yasmeen expresses concern for Eliza as she considers the extensive list of tasks.
Is Stu asking her to do too much, and could she handle it all?
Since his arrival on the cobblestones, Stu hasn’t had the best of times, and he was only recently cleared of a crime he didn’t commit.
He was accused of murder, but his ex-wife and daughter were really the ones who did it.
Stu is desperate to make sure Eliza is taken care of because she no longer has access to her mother.
He may want to make up for lost time because he missed the opportunity to spend time with her.
In another part of Weatherfield, Karis, the facilitator, is met by Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) and Sam Tilsley (Jude Riordan), who then enter the prison.
When Sam questions Harvey there, he admits he intended to kill Leanne.
Sam believes Harvey must have lost his mind when he revealed his mother passed away when he was 14 years old.
As Harvey is having awkward conversations with Sam about his mother, the bad guy exits.
Harvey is visibly upset in his cell as a result of the visitor.
He takes Sam’s most recent letter and begins to read Sam’s inquiries.
Nick is astounded to learn Harvey wants Sam to pay him another visit and is concerned for his son’s reaction.
