Fans of Coronation Street anticipate tears during Stephen Reid’s new friendship.
Fans of Coronation Street have flocked to social media to make predictions about Stephen Reid’s upcoming victim (played by Todd Joyce). They predict an unhappy outcome for the kind neighbor in his new relationship with Elaine Jones (Paula Wilcox). After killing once before, viewers of the ITV soap opera think she will be added to his hit list.
After establishing a connection with Elaine, Stephen has recently been able to alleviate some of his financial difficulties.
Her well-being is now the subject of intense speculation from worried social media users after she astonishingly gave the cunning killer a portion of the proceeds from selling her house.
“Elaine is going to be Stephen’s next victim in #Corrie,” Simon C tweeted.
But the real question is whether Stephen will get his way with Elaine before killing her for her money, VampLover27 continued.
How long until we see Stephen stuff Elaine into a bin, Mike Pristley asked?
Theorizing, Dorreen Morfitt said: “Will Stephen use his sling to suffocate Elaine? Or throw her in a garbage can? or fling her into the canal?”
“Elaine flashing the cash to Stephen after only talking to him for a few days,” Jason Debenham wrote on Twitter.
ChippyTea exploded: “After conversing with Stephen for about two days, she gives him £12,000? Has Geoff taught her nothing?”
After tricking Audrey Roberts, Stephen appears to be moving on to his next assignment (Sue Nicholls).
Following his moped crash last week, Elaine was the first to console Stephen.
Leo Thompkins (Joe Frost) was killed by Stephen before during a fight that left the boy in a trash can.
Leo confronted Stephen about his cunning ways, but as they argued, he was pushed off the scaffolding and fell on top of the trash, hitting his head on the ground.
Although Stephen has thus far gotten away with his crimes, David Platt actor Jack P Shepherd has expressed his worries about the murderer’s potential next moves.
He spoke openly about the Platt family’s future only to thesuns.info and the media.
Jakob said: “We don’t, and we want it that way because we don’t want to pass away.
“We don’t know anything about it until he is arrested, at which point we exclaim, “Stephen we never knew!” Everyone else can find out, and they wind up in the trash, but not us.
“That would be ideal for us. If anybody sort of crosses Audrey then you cross all Platts, so we want no harm to come to Audrey, so we might have to step in if he does.”
Jack also confirmed Shona Platt’s (Julia Goulding) departure has nothing to do with any plot by Stephen.
He added: “It’s not dramatic at all. I can tell you she goes off to look after Lily Platt (Brooke Malonie) in London, she is doing some football-soccer tournament thing.
“So no, it is just going to be run of the mill, she goes off, she comes back.”
