Nick Tilsley from Coronation Street is slated to have a challenging week in both his personal and professional lives.
Nick Tilsley (played by Ben Price) will be dealt two bombshells in upcoming episodes of the venerable ITV soap opera that could send him into a tailspin. As Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) intends to sell her share of the Bistro, he runs the risk of losing his business. Will the stalwart of Coronation Street consent to give up his company?
The following week, Ronnie Bailey (Vinta Morgan) is distraught when Debbie informs her that she has only received two offers for her hotels.
Debbie agrees with his suggestion that she sell her stake in the Bistro in order to stay out of bankruptcy.
She informs Nick of her intentions and gives him instructions to submit a buyout proposal within a week.
Nick and Leanne (Jane Danson) look at their finances to see if they can afford it because they don’t want to have to work with someone new.
Debbie is on the verge of rejecting the pair’s lowball offer, which annoys the businesswoman.
Debbie tells Ronnie that the meager offer from Nick and Leanne is the only thing keeping her from filing for bankruptcy.
He intervenes and offers to connect her with a broker friend of his, which excites Debbie.
Ronnie asks his friend to look for bids for Debbie’s share of the Bistro, and he returns with an unexpected idea.
Debbie tells Nick that Leanne and he should also think about selling the business’s half because it can be difficult to do so.
Leanne has another shocking revelation for Nick just as he begins to consider parting with the restaurant he has owned and loved for so long.
She reveals that Sam Blakeman, the son of Nick’s, has agreed to meet with Harvey Gaskell (Will Mellor) (Jude Riordan).
After attempting to expose Fern Lindon, Bernie Winter (Jane Hazlegrove) is left fearing for her life in another location on the cobblestones.
After Fern pretended to be her in order to commit a shop robbery, Bernie is scheduled to appear in court.
Even though it’s a case of mistaken identity, Bernie won’t let Fern get away with her deception.
She joins forces with Fern’s ex-husband Howard in an effort to persuade Fern to come out of hiding and testify truthfully in court.
Bernie is bundled into the back of a van by a stranger, but like most things in soap opera land, it doesn’t go as planned.
As Fern makes every effort to avoid going to prison, is Bernie’s life in danger?
Actress Jane issued the following warning: “She knows nothing about this woman, other than the fact that she is a con artist and a criminal who has probably pulled similar pranks in the past.
She is aware that she may know some people who are very dangerous and questionable.
