“Five weeks left.”
Lucy Fallon, a star of Coronation Street, hinted at her upcoming due date in a recent Instagram post.
On Coronation Street, the actress who played Bethany Platt shared a photo of her most recent pregnancy scan with the message, “Five weeks left,” on her Instagram Stories.
Fallon is expecting a child with her Preston North End football player partner Ryan Ledson. 13 weeks ago, Ledson himself shared a photo of a baby’s scan with the caption, “Mum & Dad to be, can’t wait till next year.”
Can’t recall if I mentioned that there’s a genuine baby in there or not, Fallon wrote in the caption of a photo she uploaded online at the same time showing off her growing baby belly.
Fallon quipped that she always knew the baby would be a boy when she disclosed earlier this month that the child is a male. “I told Ryan the previous evening that I would wager £500 that the baby would be a male. I have yet to receive the money from him.” Fallon remarked.
In September of this year, Fallon revealed that her and Ledson were expecting a child. She recounted how the announcement came after the devastating event of a miscarriage earlier in the year.
“I had pregnancy symptoms and was feeling pretty sick, and when they were doing all these scans, my symptoms were growing worse and worse and there were no signs that I had had a miscarriage, so it made it even more of a shock,” Fallon said.
“We simply assumed that everything would be alright. When I returned a week later after the blood tests and other testing, they informed me that I had miscarried.”
Now, though, Fallon and Ledson are anticipating the birth of their son, who will be both of their first children, probably in late January.
