The Weatherfield cobbles are in for some more exciting times, according to Coronation Street star Isabella Flanagan.
Actress Isabella Flanagan of Coronation Street has forewarned viewers that her character Hope Stape will exhibit even more erratic behavior in the future. The rising star has also thought back on her eventful but brief stint on the ITV soap.
Hope has experienced a lot in her brief life ever since the character was born three months early after her mother Fiz Brown (played by Jennie McAlpine) was involved in the tram crash in 2010.
Isabella, an eleven-year-old acting prodigy, claims that there is much more in store for us as well.
She said to Inside Soap: “I think Hope might calm down a little bit. But after that, they’ll force her to commit a serious sin.
Everyone will believe that she is acting more kindly before she does something terrible.
Since joining Weatherfield in 2017, Isabella has intentionally started a fire that resulted in a miscarriage and planned to flee with her half-sister.
The ambitious actress has been motivated to collaborate with more seasoned actors in the future by her eventful time.
“I’d like Hope to hang out with the older girls a little bit more,” she continued. Mollie Gallagher, who plays Nina, is a really cool actress.
“I never want to leave; the people on the show are like my second family.”
“I was only six when I joined, and I never expected any of this,” Isabella continued. But in a good way, since it gives me more work and is so enjoyable.”
“I would never choose to play Hope over a good character. I enjoy committing crimes.”
Hope is currently dealing with the news that her father, the serial killer John Stape, has come back to haunt her on Coronation Street.
A book written about her father is expected to put a lot of strain on the young girl and her mother this week on the ITV soap opera.
Coronation Street reveals spoilers Fiz has tried to reach an agreement to have Hope’s name dropped from the new publication.
Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Hansell) decides to attend the Q&A session with the journalist who wrote the new book as part of the project.
He can’t help but lose his cool when the decision is made to reveal Hope’s father, so he storms the stage and slaps the author.
Tyrone and Fiz make valiant efforts to prevent Hope from seeing any publicity for the publications.
However, as Isabella foresaw, their efforts to keep Hope out of her dad’s spotlight end up possibly causing more trauma.
The serial killer father of Isabella’s character is revealed in new soap opera images after Tyrone hides a cutout of him in the shed.
Additionally, the previews depict Hope standing in front of the unsettling image, which could signal the twist Isabella alludes to.
