It’s Harriet Bibby’s last day on the Coronation Street set this year, she has confirmed.
The soap opera star is well-known for playing Summer Spellman in the ITV program. On the Cobbles, the 24-year-character old’s has had a challenging past year.
She has experienced a heartbreaking miscarriage, been diagnosed with diabetes, and had her dreams of attending Oxbridge University dashed. Thankfully, Harriet’s real life is less dramatic than what she portrays on screen.
She frequently posts exciting updates from her life to her 46.4k Instagram followers. She has announced on social media that she will soon take a well-earned holiday break.
She uploaded a photo of herself and co-stars Peter Ash and Daniel Brocklebank with the caption, “Baltic for the last day on set this year.”
Outside of the Cobbles, Harriet has a close relationship with her co-stars. She admitted to enjoying a trip to the city with Elle Mulvaney, who plays Amy Barlow, in an interview with the ECHO last month.
She uttered: “We went to Liverpool ONE to do some holiday shopping, but since we only really bought for ourselves, it didn’t turn out too well.
“Just a little bit different because Elle and I hang out a lot. We decided to try somewhere new because we frequent Manchester so frequently.”
Harriet gushed about her favorite nightlife location and mentioned how much she likes visiting Merseyside. Harriet said she enjoys travelling to Merseyside and heaped praise on her favourite spot for a night out. She said: “We didn’t go this week, but we love going to Concert Square. It’s so fun. It’s always a good night out.”
