Daisy Midgeley from Coronation Street is about to learn some shocking information that will make her wonder about her relationship with Daniel Osbourne.
Daisy (Charlotte Jordan) and Daniel (Rob Mallard), a couple on Coronation Street, haven’t always had the best of relationships. Although Rob is still grieving the loss of his wife Sinead Osbourne (Katie McGlynn), he has at last discovered love again through Daisy. However, their relationship is in jeopardy because he reacted poorly when he learned that she had a breast lump. According to confirmed spoilers, Daniel wants to express his commitment to Daisy, but will she accept his proposal?
In upcoming scenes, Adam Barlow (Samuel Robertson) will take over because Daniel is refusing to speak to Daisy and insisting that he is too weak to offer any support.
Daisy is asked to read an article Daniel has been writing as Adam explains to her that he understands her annoyance with Daniel and his cowardice.
Daisy is shocked to learn that she assisted him in falling in love once more following the death of his wife Sinead.
Daisy and Daniel go to a breast clinic appointment together after some time apart.
Daniel explains that the article didn’t catch on and won’t be published while he waits to be seen.
Daisy urges Daniel to resume teaching because he is wasting his talents after sensing his angst, bringing the two of them back together.
After the appointment, Daniel approaches Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews) and asks for her approval before showing her Daisy’s engagement ring and his surprise plans.
In another scene, Damon Hay (Ciaran Griffiths) gives Jack James Ryan (Jacob Hay) £500 and orders him to buy Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvany) a nice Christmas present.
However, as Daniel and Daisy enter No. 1, Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson), Tracy McDonald (Kate Ford), and they are shocked to discover that all of their gifts under the tree have been taken.
As Daniel starts to freak out, Steve calls the police to report the burglary, and Daniel tells Jenny how the intruders stole the engagement ring.
Will he be successful in organizing Daisy’s engagement?
Just over a year into their relationship, the two have experienced their fair share of ups and downs.
Will Daisy answer Daniel’s big question given that she is also battling the possibility that she has breast cancer?
Actors Charlotte and Rob opened up about the challenging time for their relationship in a conversation with thesuns.info.
Rob responded, “The realization that having this event presented to them, a possible cancer scare,” when asked what led Daniel to decide that this was the right time to pop the question.
“Making him understand what he truly feels, at which point he decides, “Well, I might as well do this. Because there’s no sense in waiting around if you already know how you feel.
It’s pretty quick, isn’t it, Charlotte continued. Let’s be sincere. No, I don’t believe she understands. They haven’t even discussed it, I mean.
“Really, they’ve been together for a year now. In other words, she isn’t thinking about it.
“I think that an engagement and a wedding haven’t even entered her mind, despite the fact that she is very much committed to Daniel and to Bertie.
So, while it’s a pleasant surprise, it is nonetheless a surprise.
