Influencer Daisy Midgeley from Coronation Street has updated her fans on her engagement to Daniel Osbourne via social media.
She was eager to book an event hosted by Debbie Webster (played by Sue Devaney) after she flirted with the DJ, but she was concerned that she might have gone too far. Since the party, Daisy (Charlotte Jordan) has received numerous texts and flowers from a man named Justin, but is the Coronation Street resident in imminent danger?
According to official spoilers, Daisy will discuss her plans to use her social media to score some freebies for the wedding with Christina Midgeley (Amy Robbins) and Daniel (Rob Mallard) in upcoming scenes.
Daniel calls Preston’s Petals at Daisy’s request and asks Tracy McDonald (Kate Ford) if she will donate the wedding flowers for free, but he leaves her feeling very unimpressed.
After Daisy shows her a picture of the free wedding dress she was able to secure for herself, Christina is also unimpressed with her daughter’s strategies.
Daisy is still inundated with numerous messages from Justin asking why she blocked him, despite the joy of wedding planning.
She deletes them out of worry as she keeps working on organizing her big day and obtaining more freebies.
Daniel later regrettably informs Daisy that he won’t be able to attend the wedding fair, but he chooses to go anyway.
Daisy confides in Jodie Prenger’s Glenda Shuttleworth that Justin is becoming a bother, and she gets her advice to tell Daniel what’s going on.
Glenda informs Christina and Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews) that Daisy is receiving numerous messages from Justin out of concern for Daisy’s safety.
While at the wedding fair, Daisy takes a selfie and posts it to her social media accounts without realizing that there is a poster in the background that reveals her location.
The bridal shop owner informs Daisy that her fiancé has arrived while she is trying on a wedding gown, but she is left speechless when she realizes that it is Justin.
Daisy freaks out when he tells her how he discovered her location after seeing her online selfie.
She quickly realizes that Justin believes they are engaged and warns him to leave her alone or she will call the police.
When Glenda appears at the Rovers with a funeral arrangement of flowers for Daisy, Daisy assumes they are from Justin and tells Daniel about her ordeal.
Chesney Brown (Sam Aston) and Gemma Winter (Dolly-Rose Campbell) inform Jenny that they want to schedule their wedding reception for May 8.
However, Jenny reveals that Daniel and Daisy are also getting married on that day, prompting Gemma to remind Chesney that having fewer guests will save them money.
Justin confronts Daisy and Daniel as they make their way home before he gets in his delivery van and drives off.
After Daniel makes a threat, Justin tells Daisy he’s willing to back off to give her time to tell Daniel she no longer loves him.
Daisy snaps a selfie to post on her social media right away after receiving a sample wedding invitation.
Has she made a serious error by announcing the date and location of her wedding?
Justin might go too far in his love for Daisy and endanger her and Daniel’s lives if he sees the invitation online and learns that Daisy hasn’t broken things off with Daniel.
