Aaron Sandford is about to propose to his girlfriend Summer Spellman in front of Coronation Street viewers.
ITV viewers have recently witnessed young couple Aaron Sandford (James Craven) and Summer Spellman (Harriett Bibby) deal with a number of highs and lows in their romance. The Coronation Street couple, however, might be about to take a significant step in their relationship in scenes set to air next week.
Since the young couple has faced their fair share of challenges, it is safe to say that Aaron and Summer’s relationship hasn’t been the easiest on the cobblestones.
The two recently got into a fight after Summer discovered he had been texting his troubled ex, Mia.

Things got heated between Aaron and Amy after their kiss before leaving for the bistro. When they got back to the apartment, he had sex with her against her will before she passed out.
Aaron and Summer have since reconciled, but he has begged Amy not to tell anyone what happened because he still believes the sex was consensual.
Things may be about to come out in upcoming scenes when Aaron pushes Summer to make a significant choice because Amy has remained silent regarding the sexual assault.
In order to relieve some of Summer’s financial burden and help her pay the rent, her boyfriend believes it is time for them to move in together once more.
Summer is shocked by the proposal, but she chooses to give it some thought before making any decisions.
Viewers of Coronation Street previously saw Amy attempt to dissuade Summer from enrolling at the same university as Aaron because she wanted to keep her friend apart from the rapist.
Viewers might witness Summer’s best friend Amy admit Aaron sexually assaulted her if she asks Amy for advice on whether or not she should accept Aaron’s offer.
Summer suggests to Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brocklebank) that Paul Foreman (Peter Ash) move in and give their relationship another shot in another location on the cobblestones.
Billy still believes Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce), who took responsibility for assaulting Mike Hargrave (Tom Lorcan), did it. If the truth comes out, though, could their rekindled relationship come to an abrupt end?
The three men have had a long-running love triangle, and Coronation Street boss Iain MacLeod has teased that the group will be at the center of some major stories in the coming year.
“For two of them, romance is in the air, but I’ll let you guess which pair it might be,” he said.
In the past, Team Todd and Billy or Team Paul and Billy on the other side have both expressed their strong opinions.
“We’ve been back and forth for years and have chosen a team, but the story will center on the three of them regardless of whether the couple ends up being the winning team.
“Todd displays both a lot of heart and a lot of deviance at various points.
“We slam a huge story onto one of them, turning them into secret best friends after they were once adversaries.
“They’ll be at the center of one of our biggest stories, and it’s going to be a really interesting year for all of them.”
