Icon of CORONATION STREET Sean Tully recently welcomed his son Dylan Wilson and relished spending time with him. According to a fresh suggestion from Express.co.uk, Sean might fight for additional custody time with his son.
In recent weeks, Sean (Anthony Cotton’s character) and Dylan (Liam McCheyne’s character) have reconnected and grown closer. Sean has been balancing a fling with Frank Bardsley (Simon O’Brien), who revealed his true colors when he raged at Dylan, while navigating his relationship with Dylan. However, Dylan reveals a bombshell that can lead to a custody dispute for his son, making his life much more stressful than it already is.
Sean has done everything he can to be a part of Dylan’s life throughout the years despite not always being acknowledged as Dylan’s father.
Dylan’s mother, Violet Wilson (Jenny Platt), moved to London after his birth and has never wanted Sean to be a part of his life.
In following moments, Dylan will have to return to London since Sean wants to host a farewell dinner.
His preparations are jeopardized, though, when he is summoned into work.
Glenda Shuttleworth (Jodie Prenger), sister of George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley), devises a scheme to save the day.
Later, when Sean gets to the Bistro, he learns that Dylan has asked Weatherfield County footballer James (Nathan Graham) to surprise him at his soirée, as have Glenda and Mary Taylor (Patti Clare).
Dylan is astounded by the guests who have arrived at his party and is further happier when James offers playing some soccer before dinner.
After a pleasant evening, Dylan surprises Sean by saying that he doesn’t want to move back to London but instead wants to stay in the Street with his father instead.
Sean will undoubtedly be pleased that his kid wants to stay, but this could present some difficulties for the two of them.
Sean may find himself in the middle of a contentious custody dispute with Violet if he decides Dylan should stay with him as well.
Violet originally moved to London because she wanted Dylan and her ex-boyfriend Jamie Baldwin (Rupert Hill) to get along.
Sean and Dylan connected right away despite the distance, and Sean was eager to get engaged in Dylan’s life.
He had to wait for Violet and Jamie to split up in 2011 before he could initiate any communication, though.
Will Sean be able to let Dylan go so easy now that Dylan is with him, even though he knows it’s not what Dylan wants?
Over the past few weeks, Sean and Dylan have grown closer. Sean has even put his love life on hold in order to show Dylan that he is a wonderful father.
Frank revealed to Eileen Grimshaw (Sue Cleaver) that he knew Frank from school and that he had bullied him in the past, and she was determined to expose his actual motivations.
It didn’t take long for Frank to revert to his former behavior, revealing his real colors when he turned on Dylan after the football player was hurt.
Sean caught Frank as he attacked the kid for not defending himself during the game and sent him on his way, not accepting any crap from Frank toward his son.
Given how well-liked new dentist Lawrence (Robert Shaw Cameron) is, Sean’s relationship might still be alive.
Will Lawrence’s arrival influence Sean to dismiss Dylan? Or will he opt to stand up for his son?
