Teenagers Summer Spellman and Aaron Sandford from Coronation Street recently learned they were expecting a child, but Summer is going to completely surprise Aaron when she reveals her cunning plan.
The cast of Coronation Street has seen many births over the years, and Summer (Harriet Bibby) and Aaron (James Craven) are about to welcome their first child together. Summer hasn’t yet informed her adoptive father Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brocklebank) about her pregnancy, but upcoming scenes show that she has other plans.
According to official spoilers, Aaron is adamant that his father needs to enter rehab, but neither of them has the £10,000 necessary.
Later, at a private hospital, Summer runs into Esther Hargrave (Vanessa Hehir) and her husband Mike, and she decides to let them adopt her child.
Summer joins them for the baby’s scan, and Mike assures her that they will give her all the financial and emotional support she needs.
Summer seizes the chance and informs Mike and Esther that she requires £10,000 in cash up front.
Following the scan, Summer meets up with Aaron and shockingly reveals that she is still expecting the child and wants to give it to Mike and Esther.
Will he respond appropriately to her request for the £10,000 he needs to enroll his father in rehab? she continues.
Summer seeks out Dr. Gaddas’ assistance because she is concerned about her morning sickness and how it will affect her diabetes (Christine Mackie).
Billy is convinced Summer’s eating disorder has returned with a vengeance after she returns home and becomes nauseous, puking in the sink.
Will Summer tell the truth to Billy, Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce), and Paul Foreman (Peter Ash) when she returns home after going outside for some fresh air?
Summer and Aaron inform Billy that they will be relocating to the builder’s yard apartment with Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvany) and Jacob Hay in an effort to confuse them (Jack James Ryan).
She might be able to keep her pregnancy a secret from Billy and Todd if Summer and Aaron move in with Amy and Jacob.
They might not be as supportive of her plan to give the baby away to Mike and Esther if they learn she is pregnant.
Will Aaron support Summer’s strategy or will he end up telling Billy and Todd the truth about what is really going on between the two?
At the Inside Soap Awards, Amy’s star Elle Mulvany recently discussed the upcoming plot involving the four teenagers sharing a home. She said: “We are leaving!
“It’s very much like Friends because our friends and I are relocating into a new apartment. You’re going to have a ton of fun and get a completely new perspective on them.”
star Jacob Jack James Ryan also said “Amy, Jacob, Aaron, and Summer are present. The wonderful thing about this is that James Craven and I are really close friends with Harriet Bibby outside of the workplace.
“We’re going to try to translate the chemistry we have off-screen to the big screen. We’re very excited for it and I think the dynamic will be really great.
“There’s no doubt that Christmas will be a big one for Jacob and Amy. It will be tumultuous and intense, but also positive.
“I believe that by introducing that dynamic, we are beginning to resemble a new Steve and Tracy. We were really improbable, but our on-screen chemistry and rapport are fantastic.”
