Jennie McAlpine from Coronation Street has revealed she is expecting her third child.
The actress, who is best known for playing Fiz Stape in the ITV soap opera, is six months pregnant.
Albert, 8, and Hilda, 4, are already shared by Jennie and her partner Chris Farr. Jennie revealed she learned of the wonderful news while camping with her family.
The actress decided to take a pregnancy test after feeling ill while on a family vacation and soon discovered she was about five weeks pregnant.
It simply feels wonderful. Jennie gushed to OK! Magazine, “We’re so over the moon.”
The best Christmas present was the idea of adding to the chaos and mishmash of our family! I’m really looking forward to 2023 because it’ll be a special year.
Jennie also affirmed that neither she nor Chris will learn the gender of their unborn child prior to delivery.
She continued, “It feels like our way to do it.”
“Girl, boy—not it’s important!” I have two tiny people who are very different from one another, but I’m not sure if they can be distinguished because they are boys and girls.
Since 2001, Jennie has played the part of Fiz Stape.
Tyrone (Alan Halsall) began preparing for a covert wedding to Fiz over the holiday season, but in typical soap opera fashion, things weren’t exactly easy.
Fiz left the cobbles on Christmas Day in an effort to get a turkey for the family dinner after becoming irritated by Tyrone’s terrible gift and suggestion to have pizza for dinner.
However, Fiz’s car broke down on a rural road!
Thankfully, Fiz arrived at the wedding on time and wed Tyrone, bringing the story to a happy conclusion.
