Tracy Barlow, a famous character on Coronation Street, has had to deal with her house almost falling apart and her daughter’s insistence on returning home. She will soon learn news that will change her life, though.
Couple Amy Barlow and Jacob Hay from Coronation Street have been going strong and have been making plans to move in together and advance their relationship. Elle Mulvany and Jack James Ryan play the couple. They are about to move into No. 1, which makes Tracy (Kate Ford) thrilled to rekindle her relationship with her daughter in upcoming scenes. But in addition to the issues with her house, Amy also makes a startling revelation.
According to confirmed spoilers, Arnie informs Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) that the roof at No. 1 is worse than he anticipated and that scaffolding will also be required to access the back of the house.
Tracy and Daniel are infuriating Ed Bailey (Trevor Michael Georges) for making his life miserable with the ongoing scaffolding construction and removal, as well as the addition of a porta potty.
Amy is furious to discover that Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) and Daniel have moved into her room and are sleeping on a blow-up bed as Amy and Jacob move back in.
Tracy instructs Daniel to fix the toilet and remove the porta potty from the room in order to ensure her daughter is at ease and to improve their relationship.
Tracy is relieved that the porta potty is loaded onto a truck and removed after he complies with her request.
She might have spoken too soon, though, because when Arnie comes back to fix the toilet, he demands payment in cash up front.
Daniel meets Arnie in the Rovers and tries to reason with him but is unsuccessful because he knows how tense the house is going to get if he doesn’t find a solution.
Tracy has a history of being convicted of murder, and Adam cautions Arnie not to mess with her.
Will Arnie feel under pressure to lend a hand? Or has Adam simply pushed him further away?
When her daughter explains there is something she needs to know, Tracy, who is now back at No. 1, is taken aback. Tracy was just starting to mend fences with Amy.
Is Amy about to reveal the shocking news that she is carrying Jacob’s child?
Tracy and Amy’s relationship may change as a result of Amy being pregnant, either for the better or for the worse.
She and Jacob may not stay at No. 1 for very long, though, as it has been reported that they intend to move into a flat with Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) and Aaron Sandford (James Craven).
Actress Elle Mulvany, who recently starred in Amy, recently teased: “We are leaving! It’s very much like Friends because our friends and I are relocating into a new apartment.
You’re going to have a ton of fun and get a completely new perspective on them.
star Jacob Jack James Ryan also said “Amy, Jacob, Aaron, and Summer are present. The wonderful thing about this is that James Craven and I are really close friends with Harriet Bibby outside of the workplace.
“We’re going to try to translate the chemistry we have off-screen to the big screen. We’re very excited for it and I think the dynamic will be really great.
“There’s no doubt that Christmas will be a big one for Jacob and Amy. It will be tumultuous and intense, but also positive.
“I believe that by introducing that dynamic, we are beginning to resemble a new Steve and Tracy. We were really improbable, but our on-screen chemistry and rapport are fantastic.”
