Viewers will know that Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce) is up to no good in Coronation Street (when is he not?), having taken up a personal vendetta against Carla Barlow (Alison King).
After being embarrassed by her in front of former business associates and then demoted to office manager, Stephen took it upon himself to get rid of the Underworld boss by any means possible.
Having already killed two people: Leo and Teddy Thompkins, we were all concerned that Carla would become his third victim.
It appeared that he wasn’t prepared to go that far this time, and instead vowed simply to knock her off her perch.
In order to convince people that she wasn’t up for the job, he began drugging her with LSD, in an attempt to convince people that her psychosis had returned.
However, things may soon backfire for the killer, when he makes a grave mistake in upcoming episodes.
As Carla prepares for the Nippersnapper presentation, Stephen prepares the tea, as normal.
When Carla spits out hers and claims that he used full-fat milk, he is shocked. The boldness!
Stephen comes to the horrifying realization that he must have given her the wrong beverage.
Stephen notices he or Sarah (Tina O’Brien) has begun sipping tea from the drugged mug as the three members of the management team do the same.
It isn’t until Stephen takes the stage at the hotel later on that his vision blurs and he begins to sweat profusely, and it dawns on him that he must have taken the dose.
As the trip takes him down memory lane, will Stephen end up confessing to his crimes in a drug fueled panic?
