Sam Blakeman is concerned that his father Nick Tilsley will learn about the letters he has been continuing to send to Harvey Gaskell while he is incarcerated.
Jude Riordan’s character Sam Blakeman, who has been writing letters to his mother’s killer Harvey Gaskell while he is in prison, is starting to worry about them. After the youngster tells his friend about the peculiar situation he’s in on Coronation Street, his fears that his father will catch him will grow.
Official ITV soap opera spoilers indicate that young Sam may have gotten into too much trouble with his interactions with Harvey.
The son of Natasha, who was killed by Harvey the previous year, confides in Hope Stape (Isabella Flanagan) about his issue in upcoming scenes.
He expresses to her his concern that Harvey will respond while Sam is away.
The only problem with that is that he already informed his unusual pen pal’s letters have stopped to his father Nick Tilsley (Ben Price).
Sam thinks about telling his dad about the communication, but his alarmed friend advises him against it.
Hope is adamant that keeping the truth from Nick is not a good idea and that it is preferable to keep it that way.
She argues that you shouldn’t divulge adult secrets because of Mad Dog, an online gaming friend.
As Natasha’s death anniversary (Rachel Leskovac) approaches, it appears that some challenging emotions will likely resurface.
Nick learned last week about the letters that his son and Harvey were exchanging.
Nick and Leanne were shocked when a request to visit Harvey appeared through the post (Jane Danson).
Leanne traveled to see the murderer in search of some clarification, and he spilled the beans about his interactions with Sam.
He demanded the young boy leave in his customarily cold manner and smugly instructed Leanne to tell others.
Nick was initially shocked and enraged when he learned about the situation because Sam had kept it a secret out of concern for his dad’s reaction.
But after hearing his son’s justification, his rage subsided, and Sam went on to explain that all he really wanted was for Harvey to explain his motivations.
They were asked to stop exchanging letters, and as of now, Nick is confident that they have complied.
Sam is still adamant that he get the chance to see Harvey while he’s imprisoned, but Nick finds that to be a step too far.
If Sam wants to talk about the passing of his mother, he must be more forthcoming.
The schoolboy had previously had difficulty speaking at all following Natasha’s murder.
With the anniversary of his mother’s passing still fresh in his family’s minds, what will his conversation with Hope and their online gaming buddy result in?
