When Sam Blakeman inquires about visiting the man who murdered his mother in prison, Coronation Street mainstay Roy Cropper is about to find himself in a sticky situation.
On Coronation Street, Sam Blakeman (Jude Riordan) has been writing to Harvey Gaskell (Will Mellor), who is incarcerated. He has been curious as to why Harvey killed Natasha Blakeman, his mother, a year ago (Rachel Leskovac). He was warned not to write any more letters by Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) and his father Nick Tilsley (Ben Prince), but ITV soap opera spoilers indicate the youngster will turn to Roy Cropper (David Neilson) for assistance.
Since Harvey was supposed to kill Leanne instead of Natasha, Leanne is still troubled by her passing.
She and Nick have been telling Sam not to try to get in touch with Harvey, but it seems that their calls are going unanswered.
According to confirmed soap opera spoilers, Sam chats with Roy in the neighborhood cafe.
The youngster informs the seasoned soap opera character about his reading and research on restorative justice.
Sam says to Roy that he wants to go see Harvey in jail and wonders if he will go with him because Nick has outright said no.
Sam’s strategy, though, fails because Roy decides to tell Nick. What will he do?
Later, Leanne counsels Nick to think about allowing Sam to visit the murderer in prison because it might provide him with the closure he so desperately needs.
What will the bereaved father decide, who has the final say?
Will Sam’s encounter with Harvey be beneficial, or could the ruthless killer find a way to control the young man’s mind?
Regarding his issues with Harvey, Sam recently confided in Hope Stape (Isabella Flanagan).
But when Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) attacked Nick for implying Sam was acting out because of his daughter Hope, things spiraled out of control.
Hope’s mother Fiz Stape (Jennie McAlpine) has been working to prevent the publication of a book about her real father John Stape (Graeme Hawley), a serial killer.
Hope disappeared from school after local newspaper articles about John began to appear.
Hope was upset about the mean things her classmates had said to her regarding the articles about her father, Sam, who she had sneaked off with, had explained.
Nick had also been made aware of what had been occurring at school and had expressed his gratitude if Hope avoided Sam.
Tyrone, who was incensed by what Nick had said, stormed over to his and Leanne’s apartment and punched Nick in the face.
The last thing Hope and Sam want is for their parents to be fighting because they have already endured so much.
Will Nick allow the kids to interact with one another in the future?
Could Sam ask another adult to accompany him to visit Harvey in jail?
