Couple Daniel Osbourne and Daisy Midgeley from Coronation Street find themselves homeless as a result of their failed attempt to move in together.
The relationship between teacher Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) and bartender Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) on Coronation Street hasn’t exactly been smooth. However, according to official ITV soap opera spoilers, things may get even worse for the couple when they get confused about living arrangements and wind up having nowhere to live.
In upcoming scenes, Daisy confesses to Daniel that she feels uneasy about moving into the flat because it is filled with so many memories of Sinead.
But the teacher eventually loses it and yells at the bartender.
Daisy is devastated to learn that Sinead’s death anniversary is quickly approaching from Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson).
After dropping off Bertie (Rufus Morgan-Smith) with Beth (Lisa George) in Victoria Gardens, Daniel returns to the Rovers and tells Daisy that although the day has been emotional, he would very much like for the three of them to be able to live together.
Daisy concurs and expresses her desire to live with Daniel after putting their differences aside.
Beth stops by the apartment with Bertie and tells him about their day.
However, when Bertie refers to Daisy as “Mummy,” things take an unexpected turn.
Beth is horrified by his son’s admission, which shocks Daniel.
Daisy tells her mother Jenny (Sally Ann Matthews) that she’s not sure she’s ready for such a commitment after Bertie called her “Mummy.”
Jenny cautions her that she will regret leaving, but what will the bartender do?
Daniel and Daisy are getting ready to move in together, and Paul is offering Dee Dee Daniel’s old room, but Glenda has her eye on Daisy’s room at the Rovers.
Daniel and Daisy run into each other on the street while toting their material possessions.
Daisy says she believed they were moving into his home, while Daniel admits he believed he was moving to the Rovers.
Tracy (Kate Ford) is furious when Ken Barlow (William Roache) offers to put Daniel and Daisy up at No. 1 when they realize they have nowhere to live.
Spider (Martin Hancock) meets with his boss in the interim and informs them of his desire to resign, but his boss is unreceptive to the idea.
The actress who plays Daisy recently discussed her plot in an interview, saying: “She’d rather live at No. 1 than nowhere, but there are so many people living there that it does feel overcrowded.
As much as she loves her boyfriend, she doesn’t want to live with his entire family because they are essentially sleeping in the living room.
“I’ve been waiting for all the Barlow family dinners and to explore the Daisy/Tracy relationship in particular since she got with Daniel,” she continued to Metro.
They both have strong personalities, so I predict a clash. They will definitely clash, and I think their relationship could be very comedic.
She believes that Tracy and Daisy’s resemblance will serve as the catalyst for these comedic clashes; it’s kind of like looking in the mirror.
