As Stephen Reid continues to drug her drinks, Coronation Street viewers believe they have figured out who will be revealed.
Alison King’s character, factory owner Carla Connor, is currently being poisoned by evil Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce), a character from Coronation Street, giving the impression that she is going insane. The murderer wants to coerce her out of the factory so he can take over the operation, and it appears he may be getting close. But astute viewers of the ITV soap opera believe they have figured out how Sally Metcalfe will reveal the truth.
Carla’s tea and coffee have been laced with LSD by Stephen in an effort to make her act strangely in front of others.
Stephen is confident that it will be simple to persuade the residents that Carla is relapsing because she previously experienced a mental breakdown.
Carla recently ejected everyone from the factory as the drugs took control of her.
As she approached the group and commanded they stop “whispering about” her, she startled the workers.
The others were alarmed by her behavior, so she quickly requested that they all leave.
Fans believe it’s only a matter of time before Carla’s friends notice that she starts acting irrationally after Stephen serves her a drink, though.
When Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor) reminded Stephen that Carla prefers her coffee with LSD, she nearly caught him doing it.
Later, the factory worker made a remark that appeared to imply she might connect with someone.
Viewers noted that Sally had said Carla had appeared fine prior to her coffee.
Fans started pleading with Carla’s friends and family to open their eyes on social media.
A tweet from @Jamal06122771 reads: “Wow, Peter has Sally’s mentality. Carla was fine prior to the Coffee #corrie #coronationstreet, according to her.”
Added by @Zombiechick1967: “How come no one has clicked on the fact that Carla only loses her mind when Stephen gives her a drink? And why the f*** aren’t any consequences for him killing those 2 guys? Coronation Street and #Corrie.”
“Can they pleeeeeease hurry and make the connection between Stephen’s brews and Carla’s episodes #boring #Corrie,” (sic) @JuJulesberry begged.
@DavidMackayy added: “I need someone to make Carla a cup of tea and realise she’s fine drinking it, then Stephen to make her a cup and realise she’s gone mental #corrie.”
Others pointed out that doctor’s hadn’t thought to perform blood tests on Carla which would show she had LSD in her system.
@XxBeccyXx_ asked: “Why aren’t the doctors using their brains and suggesting doing blood tests on Carla? #corrie.”
This was echoed by @Louise49673572, who wrote: “Why hasn’t Dr. Gadass given Carla a blood test? #Corrie.”
Fans are also wishing Stephen would be apprehended for his crimes soon.
He has killed two people since arriving on the cobbles, but has so far avoided detection.
Will Sally eventually begin to believe that he poisoned Carla?
