Many people think Hope is following in her father’s footsteps because she has been acting in a worrying manner over the past few months.
Hope Stape (Isabella Flanagan) of Coronation Street has become more interested in her murderous father John in recent episodes. However, viewers foresee a fatal outcome as a new pet is welcomed into the home.
Fans watched as Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) and Fiz Brown (Jennie McAlpine) attempted to deal with Hope’s ongoing obsession with her deceased father during Wednesday night’s episode of Coronation Street.
At the Rovers Return, when discussing their worries, Chesney Brown (Sam Aston) mentioned how his former pet dog had gotten him through some particularly trying times.
Tyrone had an idea, and he made the decision to get Hope a pet in an effort to divert her attention from her interest in learning more about her dad John.
Fiz had given strict instructions to get something small, like a fish, but her new husband had a Chinchilla named Cilla waiting for her.
However, it didn’t take long for viewers to express their love for the animal on Twitter after seeing the newest member of the family.
I’m concerned for that chinchilla, so please don’t hurt it, said Mrs. Hutch28.
Malcolm alison continued, “I predict Hope will put the chinchilla to death.”
“#Corrie can’t see that chinchilla surviving very long with hope,” CarlPrescott6 said in a comment.
I _am KenBarlow, a Twitter user, wrote: “I give that chinchilla 3 months at most with Hope.”
Hope to have that chinchilla in the oven before next week, Greg Phillips tweeted.
How long before Hope tortures and murders this helpless chinchilla, asks soph cheekbones?
Hope confessed to her friend Sam Blakeman (Jude Riordan) earlier this week that she listens to the cassette of her father speaking in order to get to know him better.
Since the publication of the book about her serial killer father, viewers have seen the young girl grow somewhat fixated on him, raising concerns that she’ll emulate him.
The youngster heard two older kids calling her a “nut job,” so she stole a hammer from Tyrone’s toolbox and threatened them with it last year.
The 12-year-old was also seen participating in a chat room called “Legacy of Evil” and even attempted to contact him through a seance.
Iain MacLeod, the head of Coronation Street, revealed Hope’s storylines for the coming year when he discussed how toxic her desire to learn more about John becomes.
She develops a mild obsession that causes issues for Tyrone and Fiz, he said.
“Their problems are over, but as a parent, your problems are never completely over!
“Future parenting of Hope will present some challenges. Without giving too much away, Hope’s actions result in an adult neighbor and chinchilla getting into a pretty nasty argument as a result of her behavior.
