In upcoming episodes of Coronation Street, Todd and Eileen Grimshaw learn a disturbing fact about Laurence’s history as a serial killer. Sean Tully: Is he in danger?
Favorite Sean Tully (played by Antony Cotton) of the ITV soap opera Coronation Street might soon meet his demise as upcoming scenes reveal his partner has a sinister past. Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce), a newcomer to Coronation Street, was warned to keep quiet after he previously voiced his concerns about Laurence Reeves’ (Robert Shaw Cameron) deceased wife. It appears, though, that he was right to be concerned.
Although Sean hasn’t had much luck in love lately, when newcomer Laurence arrived, things for the Underworld machinist finally began to look up.
Sean developed a fondness for Weatherfield’s newest resident despite the mystery surrounding him and the fact that he revealed his wife had tragically died after falling from a mountain.
Todd, who was not a big fan of Laurence, immediately questioned the veracity of the account of his wife’s passing.
He decided to stop looking into Laurence’s past so as not to upset Sean, but the following week he starts to worry again.
Sean and his new beau are in the area as Todd pulls up in a taxi with Eileen (Sue Cleaver), and the driver recognizes Laurence right away.
He warned his two passengers to be cautious, telling them that their friend should keep an eye on them.
As the machinist grabs his phone and finds a picture of the cab driver named Mitch, Todd tells Sean about the strange interaction outside the Rovers.
When his boyfriend shows Laurence a picture of him, he pretends he has no idea who it is and insists he has never met the man.
When Eileen returns to No. 11, she does some investigating and comes across a photograph of Laurence and his late wife, who is seen embracing Mitch the cab driver and another man.
Sean defends Laurence by claiming that his friends are mistaken about his partner and that he has scheduled a short getaway for them.
Eileen and Todd track down Mitch after growing suspicious, and he confesses that Laurence and he were having an affair at the time his wife fell off the mountain.
When he continues that he thinks there was foul play involved and that Laurence may have pushed her, fear sets in.
While breaking the news to Sean about what they’ve discovered, Laurence reveals that their vacation will involve mountains, which makes Sean uneasy.
Later, in the cafe, Laurence reveals that because the village is so remote, there is no phone signal where they are staying.
According to an Express.co.uk theory, Sean tries to suppress his worries as he gets ready for the restful break.
However, when the two are by themselves, Sean brings up Lindsey’s passing because he notices a change in Laurence’s attitude and demeanor.
Could Sean’s life be in danger if he were to be left alone and unattended with a potential killer? Is Lindsey’s death more complicated than he realizes?
Following a fight between David Platt and the serial killer Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce), it appears that another murder may be in the works elsewhere in the soap opera (Jack P Shepherd).
David was furious with him for getting involved and pushed him into the cupboards after Audrey (Sue Nicholls) was persuaded to stop giving David money to help get his son out of jail.
Given that viewers are aware of Stephen’s temper, viewers worry that David’s life may be in danger.
