Next week will feature a number of upsetting storylines
The ITV soap opera Emmerdale will have a number of upsetting storylines in the episodes that air the following week, including a kidnapping and a violent attack.
The taunting former villain and drug dealer Callum will put Leyla Harding and Suzy Merton in grave danger. He retaliates after trying to have him imprisoned and ruining his reputation among other criminals.
Meanwhile, Cathy Hope is still having trouble. Her friends and family become concerned as she starts to lash out and endangers her life.
After a night out brings back some unpleasant memories, Victoria Sugden is also having trouble. And Charles Anderson devises a strategy to get rid of the new boyfriend of his daughter.
What will happen on the ITV soap next week is listed below. If you don’t want to know what will happen, now is your last chance to stop reading.
Leyla fears for Jacob and gets kidnapped
Leyla is dealing with severe repercussions as a result of her attempt to bring down drug dealer Callum. The criminal threatens to harm her biological son Jacob, who was raised by Leyla’s sister Alicia, as retaliation.
When they are unable to contact him, the family becomes sick with worry and decides to temporarily send him to live with Eric. Callum sends Leyla threatening texts, so she sets up a meeting with him in the hopes of settling the matter.
Callum, however, kidnaps her because he has much more evil intentions.
Suzy’s life is in danger
Suzy informs Callum’s gang members that he is a grass because she wants to see him fall. Outside the Take A Vow office, Callum attacks Suzy with a brick because he feels someone is trying to damage his reputation.
Suzy discovers Callum is still missing when she awakens in the hospital because his mother gave a false alibi. She worries that he might come back to actually kill her because he cannot be linked to the assault.

More problems for Marshall
Marshall is adopted by Arthur and his family after being rejected by his father Colin. He appreciates the help, but he’s eager to get back to Hotten Academy after his father sent him away to avoid Arthur.
Marshall is informed by the school that he can only return with parental consent. Laurel and Jai believe Colin only agreed to his return to cover up his abuse of Marshall.
Jai cautions Laurel that taking care of Marshall might have a bad effect on their family as they talk about the future. The couple is unaware that a distraught Marshall is listening to their conversation on the stairwell.
His father appears to have changed his mind in the meantime and texts him frequently to apologize for his homophobic behavior. Marshall might give Colin another chance, but is Colin’s hope sincere?
Charles’ plan to get rid of Alex
Charles Anderson, the vicar, is still not happy with the boyfriend his daughter chose. He keeps getting involved despite Manpreet’s advice to just let it fizzle out naturally.
In his most recent attempt to get rid of him, he urges the ex-convict to apply for a job in Wales, and if it’s accepted, he urges Alex to take the job.
Cathy struggles
Cathy is still having a difficult time. She’s out with friends and doesn’t like being chaperoned, so she reacts by drinking and acting recklessly.
Her father Bob realizes his daughter needs help when her actions endanger her life.
Victoria suffers panic attack during night out
Victoria’s traumatic memories are brought back by a night out with friends. She was sexually assaulted by the evil Lee Posner in 2019 and has since made every effort to recover.
Victoria, however, experiences flashbacks from the attack and then has a panic attack, which is a serious setback.
Worry continues for Paddy
Friends and family members have been closely monitoring Paddy ever since he made the decision to go to therapy. When Paddy agrees to go for a walk with him and Jimmy starts to open up at the most recent man club meeting in the village, Marlon is delighted.
