As Faith Dingle (Sally Dexter) persists in her plans to end her life, a devastating choice is being made in the Dales. Will Sandra Flaherty, played by Joanne Mitchell, succeed in destroying Liv Dingle? Sandra Flaherty is still determined to get her hands on her daughter’s money. Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) is unsure about getting married to Kim Tate at Home Farm (Claire King).
Amelia Spencer (Daisy Campbell) and Noah Dingle (Jack Downham) are connected by Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton), but Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) finds it more difficult than she anticipated to carry on her lewd relationship with Al Chapman (Michael Wildman).Can Matty Barton (Ash Palmisciano) agree to put Suzy Merton (Martelle Edinborough) out of his mind?
Faith plans to end her own life
Faith is relieved that Moira hasn’t told Cain about her plans to commit suicide after telling her daughter-in-law Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) about them (Jeff Hordley). However, she is still adamant about moving forward and is counting on Moira’s support. However, Moira is hesitant and becomes even more concerned when Faith’s health worsens, making it clear that the elderly woman is running out of time. Faith is shocked when Moira subsequently offers to stand by her side when the time comes. But Moira sobs under the weight of responsibility, torn between wanting to do the right thing and feeling completely guilty.
Moira feels uncomfortable as Cain starts researching hospice care for his mother even though she is aware that Faith won’t require it. When Cain and Chas insist on discussing hospice plans, it detracts from Faith’s plans for a fun day with her family. Faith feels bad about lying, so Moira asks her to tell her what she has planned. Faith declines, stating that doing so would bring Moira into disrepute and that aiding suicide is illegal. While Moira is terrified of what she has agreed to, Faith is desperate to have some control and choose the moment of her death. Will she eventually change her mind?
Will Sandra succeed in scamming Liv?
Just as Liv’s husband Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) is shocked to see a “For Sale” sign up at The Mill, Liv and Sandra unexpectedly return from their vacation. Vinny is disappointed that Liv made such a significant decision without consulting him, but Sandra is pleased with the strife she has sparked between the couple. As Liv and Vinny’s argument intensifies, Sandra meets with her accomplice Terry to discuss their evil schemes. Vinny is shocked when his mother Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley) insists that Sandra is to blame for everything, and she then begins to plan retaliation. Liv is delighted when Vinny apologizes to her and they decide to move to Spain with Sandra.
But because Jimmy King (Nick Miles) pretends to be interested in purchasing the cottage, Mandy has enlisted his help in her scheme to overthrow Sandra. However, Liv is furious and throws her husband out after finding out that Vinny was involved in the scheme to expose Sandra. Later, Sandra presents temptation to Liv, and soon she is back to drinking. Sandra tries to get Liv to drink more as she spills the beans about her savings account. Sandra has her sights set on getting access to Liv’s bank account when she nods off. Will she escape punishment?
Will has second thoughts about Kim
As Olivia Bromley’s (Willow Bell) resentment toward Dawn Fletcher (Olivia Bromley) over Millie Tate’s (Willow Bell) lies simmers, Will struggles to conceal his annoyance at Kim for booting his daughter out of Home Farm. Meanwhile, Harriet Finch (Katherine Dow Blyton) is making an effort to deny her feelings for her ex-boyfriend Will. When Hazel (Kate Anthony) comes to pick up Millie, Kim feels alone once more, and Will is still upset about Dawn’s decision not to attend the wedding.
Will Kim’s decision to apologize to Dawn ultimately be helpful? As Kim confides in her friend, Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick) notices the tense environment between Will and Kim. Will and Kim eventually make up, but Will is still unsure. When Harriet steps in and warns Will that continuing with the wedding could cost him Dawn, Kim is incensed. Harriet confesses her love to Will and informs him that Kim had threatened her. Will is horrified to learn that Kim had refused to invite guests to the celebration. Will he call the whole thing off as he begins to doubt what he sees in Kim?
Kerry tries to split Amelia and Noah
When Kerry offers a suggestion for a job, Noah is pleasantly surprised and thinks she is extending a hand of friendship to him. He and Amelia quickly realize, however, that the job offer is only a ruse to get rid of Noah. It doesn’t take long for Kerry to ask Amelia’s father Dan Spencer (Liam Fox) for assistance in permanently dividing the teens.
Soon, Noah’s mother Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) becomes involved as well. What will the group ultimately do, and is Kerry’s next strategy likely to fail? Is it time for the adults to acknowledge that Amelia can make her own decisions while she is pregnant, or are they right to want her and Noah to be apart?
Chas’s cheating is derailed
Al sends Chas a message requesting a meeting, but Kerry quickly fills Al’s schedule, disappointing Chas. Chas is left scrambling for time at home as her husband Paddy (Dominic Brunt) returns to work at the Woolpack. Chas is later appreciative of Cain’s offer to look after ill Faith and young Eve for the day despite the fact that he is aware that he is in the dog house.
Will this allow Chas to schedule a second meeting with Al? Will anything stop the pair in their tracks, or will they continue to revel in their affair while their loved ones struggle with various difficulties? Time will only tell…
Matty remains furious with Suzy
Suzy tries to talk to Matty, who feels awkward because he still holds her responsible for the death of his sister Holly. Later, she shows up at Holly’s memorial service, and Matty is forced to conceal his anger as mom Moira thanks Suzy for asking to pay her respects.
Matty does, however, experience a moment of regret for his own actions as a result of Moira’s new attitude. Is there any chance he can make amends with Suzy, or will Matty still harbor resentment toward her for what she did on the day Holly died?
