Two residents of Coronation Street will fight, and an eco-warrior will raise a young member of the community. The top five spoilers from this week’s episodes are listed below.
When Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall), learns that Nick Tilsley (Ben Price), is forbidding Sam Blakeman (Jude Riordan), from seeing Hope, he becomes enraged (Isabel Flanagan). In another scene, Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) finally confesses she’s expecting and intends to place the child for adoption. Fiz is haunted by John Stape
Tyrone displays the first excerpt from the John Stape book in the Gazette to Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) at No. 9. Fiz quickly hides the paper from Hope after feeling her heart sink.
Tyrone is advised by Fiz to make contact with the journalist who collaborated on the book with Phill and schedule a meeting with him. But is the offender a local one?
Fiz is informed by Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) that he has stopped publishing any new articles in the Gazette but that it might be impossible to prevent the publication of the book as a whole.
Later, Adam reveals to Fiz and Tyrone that they may be able to file a privacy injunction against the reporter who tricked Hope into providing information.
Tyrone punches Nick Tilsley
Hope’s teacher calls Tyrone and Fiz to let them know that she has vanished. Later on, Hope is discovered with Sam in Victoria Garden. Sam explains that Hope was upset about the foul things her classmates were saying.
Fiz sobs as Nick tells the couple that he would appreciate it if Hope avoided Sam.
When Nick answers the phone when Tyrone calls at Nick and Leanne’s apartment, Tyrone punches him hard.
Sam is instructed by Nick to turn in his walkie-talkie and not to speak to Hope again. Tyrone was punched by Nick when Leanne called at No. 9 and tore a strip off him.
Tyrone is attacked by Fiz, who notes that Hope’s friendship with Sam has been damaged by his irrational behavior.
Summer Spellman shares her pregnancy secret
James Craven’s character, Aaron Sanford, asserts that his father needs to enter treatment but that it is impractical because it would cost $10,000. The pregnancy secret of Summer Spellman is revealed.
Summer meets Mike and Esther at a private hospital and decides to let them adopt her child. Mike assures Summer that they will provide her with all the material and psychological support she requires following her scan.
Summer shocks everyone by saying, “I’m still pregnant and I’m giving the baby to Mike and Esther in exchange for £10k so that his Dad can go into rehab,” before meeting with Aaron. She demands payment in full now.
Todd Grimshaw makes an unsettling discovery
Sean asks Todd to take a photo of them on Laurence’s phone as he, Laurence, and Dylan (Liam McCheyne) get ready for their night out. Sean is played by Anthony Cotton.
Todd is startled when a photo suddenly appears on the phone as he does this.
Later, Laurence witnesses Sean attempting to decipher a code on his phone in order to view the image Todd discovered.
Sean’s face turns red as Laurence marches out after grabbing his phone back. Is the new couple’s future bleak?
Max Platt groomed by eco-warrior
Griff, a newcomer, tells Max (Paddy Bever) that he will be having some friends over later and that Max is welcome to join them. Max tells David he’s going to the library after school, which is a lie.
When Griff introduces Max to Lauren, Reece’s daughter, the boy falls in love right away.
ITV has revealed that Griff, a member of an extremist gang, will train Max.
